We have dedicated our resources to one mission – to become and remain the world leader in wood based specialty chemicals based on lignin.
We are active in nearly 80 countries, primarily through direct sales and our innovation efforts are channelled from the market to our key R&D centers in Europe and North America as well as to our dedicated technical service personnel world wide.
We trace our roots to the creation of the commercial lignosulphonate business over 70 years ago, and we have been shaping that business for the last 20 years. In the late 1980’s, we recognized the need to create a global lignin company to supplement the numerous smaller regional companies then in existence. Over the last two decades we have built that company through acquisitions as well as numerous green field expansions. These efforts continue today as we actively seek new and more efficient ways to serve a global business community.
All in all, we employ around 600 people dedicated to meet and exceed the expectation of our customers with the highest quality products. We continuously strive to develop wood based renewable products for new applications and through that we contribute to present alternatives for oil based synthetic products in a wide variety of industries.
